Dalibor Dvorsky, the 10th pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, made a favorable first impression in a 4-3 loss for the Sudbury Wolves against the Flint Steelheads on Friday night.
The center iceman scored and six shots on goal despite being a minus-2 in the game for the Wolves, his first action since earlier in the week leaving the Swedish Hockey League when things didn't work out for him at IK Oskarshamn.
He scored a beautiful one-timer goal midway through the third period to cut the deficit to 4-3 but the home side couldn't pull off the comeback.
Dvorsky talked postgame, via Sudbury, about his debut and playing with San Jose Sharks first-round pick in 2023, Quentin Musty and David Goyette.
The Wolves returned to action on Saturday night on the road against the Barrie Colts.
