We were unable to start the week off with a Look of the Day winner, but we're feeling good about a bounce-back cash. We're going right back to the diamond for our favorite bet on Tuesday's MLB slate.
You can never go wrong betting on the best lineup in the National League. The Braves rank No. 1 in MLB this season in runs per game (7.0), batting average (.303), OPS (.891) and wOBAcon (weighted on-base average on contact). Sensing a theme here?
The Braves have gone over 5.5 runs in six of their 10 games this year, and they're staring down a juicy matchup on Tuesday night.
The New York Mets will be rolling with right-hander Adrian Houser, who doesn't have many great memories against the Braves. Houser is 0-4 in his career against Atlanta with a 4.88 ERA. He gave up nine total runs in two matchups last season.
In 98 career matchups against current Braves hitters, Houser has given up a .322 batting average and a .372 xwOBA. The Mets also used five pitchers out of the bullpen in Monday's game against the Braves, so they will be short a few arms in this contest.
