On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing the Memphis Grizzlies at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Chris Paul is playing in his 1,258th career game, which moves ahead of Otis Thorpe for sole possession of 33rd on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list.
Following Thorpe, the next player for Paul to pass will be Carmelo Anthony (1,260).
Paul came into the evening with averages of 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range in 43 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 35-32 record in 67 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the New York Knicks by a score of 119-112.
Paul had 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 6/9 from the field and 2/2 from the three-point range in 20 minutes of playing time.
Following the Grizzlies, the Warriors will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers at the Chase Center.

Paul was the fourth pick in the 2005 NBA Draft and is in his 19th season in the league.
In addition to Golden State, the future Hall of Famer has also spent time with the New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns.
